⊰  ♥  ⊱; “Yes I am quite sure I have everything that is needed on this outing Edward..do not worry about me..” Seemingly when she wasn’t around Ciel, she acted very mature for her age, as seen in her speech to her older brother. “Come let us depart then..” Chuckling mildly, before placing the back of her hand over her mouth, the air pushing through her gloved digits. Moving to loop her arm around his own, was comforting in itself and felt a lot like home.

The simple comforts were what she admired the most, emerald perception reflecting in his own, that mirrored much like her own. Walking they then both exited the manor, as she had been helped into the carriage by one of their many servants, the others making sure everything had been secured to the carriage, before they were to make their depart into the wilderness.

Although that was not to say they would not be closely guarded, their mother never one to trust the children alone had appointed a guardian to them in their journey, kind of like an unseen advantage. Her children were the most precious things to the Midford Matriarch, and she was going to make sure they would at least come back alive. After entering the carriage the youngest of the two, took a seat onto the plushed burgundy velvet of the cushion and adjusted herself properly.

Interlocking her ankles and placing her hands down folded in her lap. The glass pane separating the two from the outer world was a thing in itself. Shifting her oculars to gaze out the window as the carriage started off on their journey. The carriage had been bouncing mildly, but not enough to make a fuss over it. Her mind was shattered between this outing with her brother, and the upcoming holiday of the pastel colors that were vivid in her mind.

“Do you think Ciel, would like to throw a party for this upcoming Easter..?” Asking her brother, always liking to get a rise out of him, aware of his feelings for her, it was a way to truly stick a hot poker right into his thigh.

Despite all her mother efforts of sending a guardian, Edward simply wasn’t convinced this was enough to protect his sister. While he went along with her without saying a word, lost on his own thoughts, the blond couldn’t help but to wonder how he would tell her she was supposed to wear the bulletproof vest he had spent all his economies to buy her so she would be safe in this journey.

“Are you sure this is going to be okay with you, Lizzy? To kill animals just for fun.”

All honestly this was something he didn’t quite enjoy, though that he felt he needed to do with excellency being the heir of the Midford household. Edward felt the need to do this, but Elizabeth, she didn’t have to. She was a lady after all. On a way or another, he wouldn’t question it much – all the nobles did it, so there was probably nothing wrong with it but in his head.

“No, Elizabeth, I don’t think he would.”

Though if she insisted on doing so either way, Edward would accompany her to guarantee the boy would keep his hands off her at the entire occasion. Of course there was always this chill up his spine whenever she was around his cousin, though he was being honest there, if anything.

“Ciel doesn’t enjoy parties. If anything, it’s going to be a bother.”

Had the Phantomhive heir ever shown a single drop of appreciation on any of the parties Lizzie had put so much effort into? No, not a bit. Ungrateful brat.

“Though if it’s going to make you happy to throw an Easter party, I’ll help you out. Whether he likes it or not doesn’t matter. You’re more important than that, and if he ever wants to marry you, he is going to have to learn how to make you happy.”

Their devotion to one to another was pretty much one-sided, if anything. The blond was tired of seeing how his sister did everything to Ciel, worried so much about being cute just for him, bought him so many presents, while the other did nothing in return. This wasn’t the kind of person Edward wanted to marry his sister.

⊰ ♥ ⊱; The young Midford daughter was mildly excited. Going on a hunting trip alone with her brother would have been a good experience. Although Edward saw it as a chance to try and steal her away from her beloved, like every chance he got. Lizzy was not dull or dumb witted and knew of his intentions, the lady had just decided to mask it behind a careless and naive mask, much like she had all her life.

Learning early in life that she was different from the other girls in this society she was not one to be messed with, as the scales were tipping in her favor. Positioned in her room and packing for the trip she was to take with him, mother thought it would be a good bonding experience for the children, but gave strict instructions to Edward to not let anything happen to the youngest daughter.

Completely in his care, that much Lizzy knew that she was safe, after finishing her packing a few of the servants came in and grabbed her bags and started to head towards the carriage to load them up. Emerald optics scanned around her room quickly to make sure she did not forget anything that was of any importance on this trip she was to take with him. It had seemed she gathered all the necessities as she exited her room and closed the door gently.

Her golden tresses were tied up, as her curls descended down her back, she had worn a hunting blazer as well as a matching tan skirt, with dual black and white shoes. The leather gloves matching her skirt, heading down the hallway was not much for the youngest lady of the house, before turning the corner and coming upon her older brother’s door.

Thinking mildly that she had might as well check on him before they were off on their hunting adventure, knocking gently on the door, before her hand descended down to grasp around the opposing wrist. “Edward…Edward…are you almost ready to go?” Asking with a sincere gesture, acting differently around her brother than she had with Ciel was one way she would not let her heart break.

Putting on the facade of cuteness and cheerfulness around Ciel was only to protect herself from him. Acting much more like a decent lady around her brother and with her parents. Although when Ciel was around she would have to put that mask on once more to be he wife he deserved. “Edward…are you decent…?” Asking once more before she went for the door handle and squeezed it before shifting it down and opening the door. Covering those emerald jewels upon entering, “I am sorry brother, but we are going to be late if you continue to doddle…”

If there was anything that came to the heir’s mind when it came on hunting with Elizabeth was concern. His sister was great, had more abilities than he could ever have on fencing, and Edward was perfectly aware of her strength. Yet, she was just a little girl – frail, in a way. He didn’t want her to risk falling off the thoroughbred, or having her to get attacked by a crazy deer or fox. The male has seen many, many odd, terrible and unfortunate things happening on hunting. People getting shot by stray bullets, horses breaking their legs, hunting dogs getting bitten by larger animals, people running out of food and the list went on. It was too dangerous for her to go.

Though on a way or another, the boy simply didn’t know how to refuse anything Elizabeth suggested or requested of him (except marriage), so he ended up agreeing on it even though he was deeply concerned on her well-being. Their mother seemed to be extremely supportive on the matter, what didn’t contribute much to Edward’s campaign of not letting her do such an unsafe thing.

Since it was no use at the given point, he decided to go with it and pack whatever he thought that was needed to keep Elizabeth’s well-being. A first aid kit was more than needed. He also took her a bulletproof vest that had recently been developed (he hoped that the thing worked), some literature for her to read while they weren’t hunting, some extra boots in case hers got dirty along with some other things. Since they were going to do this, they might as well do it well, and go prepared. As for himself, he was just bringing the clothes of his body, a sword, a couple of revolvers and extra bullets. She was way more important than him. Most of his bag was filled with things for the girl, after all.

“Come in, I’m just finishing putting a shirt on –.” Was she ready already? Looking forward to it, for all that it seemed. Way more anxious than him. Though he would enjoy, spending some quality time with her, no matter the activity.  “Ok, we can go now. Are you sure you’re bringing everything you need?” If she is not, Edward already is doing her the favour. No point on trying to slow things down anymore, so why was he still trying? After all, it would better if they did this while there was still enough light for them to see. Oh, he was suffering from his concern already, an it hadn’t even started! It would have been much more delightful if his sister had decided to play something less dangerous like golf. Hopefully she wouldn’t see how worried towards her he felt, or it could ruin the mood.
