    Oh?

Well, well seems someone had a problem with her darling nephew, which of course made the baroness’ mood drop if only a few inches, though of course she managed to keep it hidden beneath her ever so charming smile. Nobody was allowed to speak ill of her darling “Darling, you might not see it right now, but my nephew cares for her more than he lets on” and it was almost an insult, that someone would question Ciel’s ability to love after everything he’d gone through. Waggling a finger at him, she adds “there is a difference though, between love and devotion, you should remember that darling”

Cue a raised eyebrow ” I recall, if my memory doesn’t fail me, Lizzy telling me you stated you wanted her to live in a sewer. Whatever that might mean escapes my comprehension dear.”

“Yes, indeed there is a difference, but my sister, she devotes her whole to him. Every day she wakes up and spends hours making herself ‘cute’ just in hopes he will show up, and he never does. She is always buying him presents, making everything to make him smiles, and gets no reaction from him but annoyance. I know Ciel has gone through a lot, but I believe it’s my right to think this is not fair with her either.” The boy was responsible, there was no denying it. She would be safe with him. He didn’t want her to get hurt, frustrated and disappointed, though. Girls were raised to marriage, and he knew that many got upset when things didn’t turn out to be what they had always dreamed of.

“This is blasphemy, I never suggested such a thing!” Surely he wanted to move out of the country with her, but surely it wouldn’t be to a worse place. A mansion, somewhere with style, at least. Not going subject any of them to a sewer, like ever.
